Let\u2019s look at the results of the 2015 Linkedin Global Talent Trends survey of over 20 000 full time workers in 29 countries.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\"><strong>Over 75% talents are open to changing jobs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input tinymce_input_focus tinymce_structure_focus\">If you\u2019re having trouble finding the right people through your job postings, go and find your talent yourself.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">Over 75% of talents are open to hearing from a recruiter. How interested are candidates from hearing from recruiters and headhunters? Results are quite similar.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">From a corporate recruiter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>very interested \u2013 46%<\/li>\n<li>somewhat interested \u2013 27%<\/li>\n<li>not very interested \u2013 20%<\/li>\n<li>don\u2019t know \u2013 5%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input tinymce_input_focus tinymce_structure_focus\">From a headhunter:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>very interested \u2013 43%<\/li>\n<li>somewhat interested \u2013 30%<\/li>\n<li>not very interested \u2013 21%<\/li>\n<li>don\u2019t know \u2013 7%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\"><strong>Globally, 30% of candidates are actively looking for a new job. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">But which countries are the most and least active?<\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">Most active:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saudi Arabia \u2013 51%<\/li>\n<li>UAE \u2013 48%<\/li>\n<li>India \u2013 45%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">Least active:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Belgium \u2013 18%<\/li>\n<li>Taiwan \u2013 19%<\/li>\n<li>Netherlands \u2013 19%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\"><strong>How satisfied are they?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">Unsurprisingly, passive candidates are happier than active candidates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">Passive candidates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>satisfied \u2013 76%<\/li>\n<li>neither satisfied nor dissatisfied \u2013 12%<\/li>\n<li>unsatisfied \u2013 11%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">Active candidates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>satisfied \u2013 48%<\/li>\n<li>neither satisfied nor dissatisfied \u2013 20%<\/li>\n<li>dissatisfied \u2013 30%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\">And what factors do candidates consider when offered a new job?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>compensation \u2013 49%<\/li>\n<li>better professional development \u2013 33%<\/li>\n<li>better work \/ life balance \u2013 29%<\/li>\n<li>more challenging work \u2013 25%<\/li>\n<li>more opportunities for advancement \u2013 24%<\/li>\n<li>better fit for skills \u2013 23%<\/li>\n<li>better work culture \u2013 21%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"tinymce_structure tinymce_input\"><strong>Just because a candidate is satisfied in their current role, doesn\u2019t mean they\u2019re going to stay forever. How can you prevent your employees from being poached by recruiters? You can\u2019t. But you can reduce the risk: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pay your talent competitively and offer them perks, such as remote working options and a flexible schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Check in regularly with your employees. Find out their career goals and give them an opportunity to develop their skills and grow.<\/li>\n<li>Create a supportive working environment and hold regular team events so staff can get to know one another.
